November 2015

Launched as a spinoff company from Lighthouse Catholic Media

Many of our employees made up the creative, distribution, and support teams that powered Lighthouse—the world’s largest distributor of Catholic audio presentations. We’ve proudly harnessed 10 years of passion, expertise, and infrastructure from our industry roots to serve our clients.

February 2016

Discerned our name

Our name “5 Stones” comes from the biblical narrative of David defeating the seemingly unassailable Goliath. Humbly we seek to be a tool in the hands of the many “Davids” that put their vision and talents at the service of the Church today.

We believe that all of our clients are engaged in their unique call to serve the Church and the world. Our brand is a constant reminder that nothing is possible without Jesus Christ and that those who serve him faithfully and fearlessly can do remarkable things.

Broke ground on Sycamore Facility

We’re pleased to serve our clients from a beautiful, 90,000 square foot facility in Sycamore, Illinois. Originally offering over 1 million cubic feet of climate-controlled warehouse space, we've since expanded to now feature almost 3 million cubic feet in the distribution center. Increased Fulfillment Efficiency with New Automation

We already had more than two million cubic feet of climate-controlled space and a dedicated, hardworking staff. Then we revolutionized how it all worked by introducing new technologies that have greatly maximized our efficiency.

The result—we’re now shipping almost 4 million items per year and preparing orders 15 times faster than we were before! And we’re the go-to logistics provider for more than 40 Catholic apostolates that are either in a new season of growth or were dissatisfied with their previous third-party providers.
